Clinical Genomic Scientist

Job Summary

Analyzing clinical genetics data, the full-time Clinical Genomic Scientist will curate variants and genes, summarize findings for clinical reports, and assist laboratory directors with technology validation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Curation of variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations following ACMG guidelines
• Analysis of clinical genomics data and selection of variants for curation and confirmation
• Drafting clinical reports, validating tests, and presenting findings while monitoring turnaround times

Required qualifications

• PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent
• Master's degree with relevant experience may be considered
• 2-4 years of variant curation experience
