Job Summary
Analyzing clinical genetics data, the full-time Clinical Genomic Scientist I will curate variants and genes, summarize findings for clinical reports, and assist laboratory directors with technology validation in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Curation of variants, genes, and gene-disease correlation following ACMG guidelines
- Analyzing clinical genomics data and selecting variants for curation and confirmation
- Drafting clinical reports, validating tests, and presenting findings
Required qualifications
- PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent; Master's degree with relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in bioinformatics analysis and variant effect prediction algorithms
- Familiarity with ACMG variant curation guidelines
- Knowledge of genomic variation and its correlation with human disease
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
