Job Summary
Interpreting diagnostic test results and summarizing clinical information, the full-time Clinical Genomics Scientist will work remotely to support genetic counseling efforts, focusing on the review of relevant medical literature and clinical data.
Key responsibilities
- Attend trainings for reporting protocols specific to the position
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results in accordance with established SOPs
- Review and summarize relevant medical literature and clinical information
Required qualifications
- MS in Genetic Counseling or related field from an accredited institution
- Thorough knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
- Ability to understand and evaluate genetic data and literature
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing
- New genetic counseling MS graduates are qualified
