Clinical Genomics Scientist

Job Summary

Interpreting diagnostic test results and summarizing clinical information, the full-time Clinical Genomics Scientist will work remotely to support genetic counseling efforts, focusing on the review of relevant medical literature and clinical data.

Key responsibilities

• Attend trainings for reporting protocols specific to the position
• Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results in accordance with established SOPs
• Review and summarize relevant medical literature and clinical information

Required qualifications

• MS in Genetic Counseling or related field from an accredited institution
• Thorough knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
• Ability to understand and evaluate genetic data and literature
• Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing
• New genetic counseling MS graduates are qualified
