Job Summary

Supporting core clinical informatics functions within VHA EHRM, the full-time Clinical Informaticist II will assess healthcare professionals' needs, refine clinical processes, and develop decision support systems to enhance patient care during and after Federal EHR go-lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess information and knowledge-based needs of healthcare professionals and patients
  • Develop, implement, and refine clinical decision support systems
  • Assist with Clinical Informatics Issue Triage and support Workflow Stabilization and Optimization activities
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Informatics, Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical informatics or EHR support experience
  • Experience supporting clinicians with EHR issue resolution and workflow analysis
