Job Summary
As a technical leader, the full-time remote Clinical Informatics Data Architect will oversee data modeling, normalization, and transformation activities to develop advanced healthcare data architecture while ensuring adherence to informatics standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of data modeling and transformation activities aligned with organizational goals
- Lead the design and mapping of healthcare data to standards such as FHIR and OMOP, focusing on data quality and completeness
- Architect robust data pipelines for efficient handling of large data volumes, enabling timely analysis and intervention
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a medical-related field, and a Master's degree in Clinical Informatics
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a clinical informaticist, data architect, or data integration engineer in Healthcare or Life Sciences
- Proficiency in healthcare standards and controlled terminologies, including SNOMED, LOINC, and RxNorm
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, R, dbt, and ETL tooling, with experience in cloud computing platforms and version control systems
