Job Summary

Leading clinical value stream management, the full-time Clinical Informatics Director, MD Licensed will optimize information flow and enhance the Veteran's care experience while overseeing EHR modernization and patient safety initiatives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the identification and mapping of clinical value streams to optimize clinical activities and information flow
• Coordinate process standardization for EHR modernization to facilitate change management during site go-lives
• Oversee the development of auto-surveillance quality and safety detectors to enhance patient safety and real-time mitigations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with active licensure
• Board Certification in Clinical Informatics
• 8+ years of clinical informatics leadership experience in a large-scale healthcare system
• Deep expertise in Oracle Health Millennium (Cerner) and CPRS/VistA
• Mastery of HL7, FHIR, and clinical terminology impact on clinical decision support
