Clinical Informatics Education Specialist

Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time Clinical Informatics Education Specialist will design and deliver innovative training programs for clinicians and teams, working remotely to enhance user confidence and system adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum based on adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes, self-paced eLearning, and multimedia content to support user training
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to ensure effective training and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, or Healthcare
• Epic certification in one or more modules must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience supporting clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• If an RN, an active Registered Nurse license is required
