Clinical Informatics Education Specialist

Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time Clinical Informatics Education Specialist will design and deliver innovative training solutions for clinicians and teams, ensuring user confidence and system adoption in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum focused on adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes and self-paced eLearning, along with multimedia content and go-live support
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to enhance user engagement and system optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field
• Epic certification in assigned modules to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience with clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• If applicable, an active license as a Registered Nurse or equivalent clinician certification
