Clinical Informatics Education Specialist

Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time Clinical Informatics Education Specialist will design and deliver innovative training for clinicians and teams in a remote setting, focusing on user adoption and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement effective training curricula rooted in adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes and self-paced eLearning to enhance user confidence and system adoption
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to support ongoing optimization and improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, Healthcare, or equivalent experience
• Epic certification in assigned modules to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience working with clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• If applicable, an active license as a Registered Nurse or other relevant clinical certification
