Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting VA enterprise health informatics initiatives, the full-time Health System Specialist - Clinical Informatics will manage the implementation of clinical tools, assist healthcare professionals with EHR-related issues, and enhance clinical workflows while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support core functions of enterprise clinical information systems to enable safe and efficient patient care
• Assist clinicians with issue resolution related to EHR, CPRS/VistA, and clinical applications
• Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, training materials, and performance dashboards to improve clinical informatics tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health informatics, healthcare administration, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, or EHR support
• Experience supporting clinical information systems and developing documentation and training materials
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
