Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Clinical Informatics Specialist will facilitate the integration of clinical information systems and workflows, enhancing patient care and safety while leading projects and conducting needs analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, operational teams, and IT to optimize clinical information systems
• Lead projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation, while conducting analysis of clinical and organizational needs
• Develop and deliver training materials to support end-user adoption of clinical technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly Epic EHR systems
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and code sets, including SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-9/10
