Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare quality improvement initiatives, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will work remotely to write queries and create reports that analyze clinical processes and outcomes, while providing analytic support for disease management and population health.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute queries and reports to measure clinical process and outcome metrics
• Provide analytic support for evaluating care pathways and population health initiatives
• Manage and validate large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information technology, health informatics, public health, or a related field
• Epic Certification and proficiency in reporting tools within one year of hire
• Three years of progressive experience in healthcare operations or analytics
• Proven experience in creating and managing large data sets
