Clinical Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Medical Management department, the full-time hourly Clinical Intake Specialist will manage the notification process by utilizing electronic hardware and software while providing non-clinical support in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tasks in compliance with Department of Labor, HIPAA, ERISA, and Medical Management policies
• Utilize software and office equipment to accurately enter data and complete the notification process
• Prioritize calls in the telephonic intake queue and refer clinical information to licensed staff as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a remote environment
• Experience in a high-volume setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology
