Clinical Intake Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Medical Management department, the full-time hourly Clinical Intake Specialist will manage the notification process using electronic systems, provide non-clinical support, and ensure compliance with relevant policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tasks in accordance with Department of Labor, HIPAA, ERISA, and Medical Management Policy and Procedures
- Utilize software and office equipment for accurate data entry to complete the notification process
- Prioritize calls in the telephonic intake queue and refer clinical information to licensed staff as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a remote environment
- Experience in a high-volume setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
