Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing FISH Dry Lab, the remote Clinical Laboratory Technologist - FL Licensed will perform complex laboratory procedures, manage specimen handling, and ensure accurate test analyses while working Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests and exercises independent judgment in the assigned specialty
• Maintains accurate records of testing, specimen handling, and quality control documentation
• Analyzes specimens and reports results, following established procedures for critical results communication

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field with laboratory experience
• 1+ years of experience in high complexity testing preferred
• ASCP certification for the assigned specialty is required
• Current state license to perform laboratory testing as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Florida
• Experience with specimen preparation and quality control procedures
