Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary

To support the establishment of a dedicated clinical operations function, the full-time Clinical Operations Manager will oversee the clinical review of medical certifications for leave requests, manage the medical certification team, and develop operational workflows, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end clinical review of medical certifications and manage day-to-day clinical operations
• Build and improve operational workflows, creating and updating SOPs and documentation standards
• Ensure clinical consistency and compliance oversight while supporting cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state paid-leave/disability laws
• 3+ years of experience in disability, leave-of-absence, or claims-related clinical review
• RN license preferred or significant utilization review experience in relevant environments
• 3+ years of people-management experience and direct experience managing a care team
• Experience designing or standardizing operational workflows, SOPs, or training programs
