Clinical Operations Program Lead

Job Summary

As a remote Associate Director, Clinical Operations Program Lead, the candidate will manage the operational strategy and planning for oncology programs, ensuring effective execution of clinical studies while collaborating with strategic partners and overseeing budget planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead program-level operational strategies in collaboration with Clinical Operations Managers and external vendors
• Provide operational oversight to ensure clinical studies are executed on time, with high quality and within budget
• Serve as the point of escalation for Clinical Operations Managers and communicate program status to senior management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research, with at least 7 years in clinical study/project management
• Experience with early phase clinical studies or later phase global programs
• Expertise in global regulatory and compliance requirements for clinical research
• Demonstrated excellence in program management, including risk assessment and contingency planning
