Job Summary
To support the operational excellence of clinical services, the full-time remote Clinical Operations Specialist will manage complex scheduling, oversee provider attendance, and handle non-clinical patient requests while collaborating closely with leadership and team members.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day scheduling workflows, including rescheduling and PTO tracking for providers
- Act as the first line of defense for non-clinical patient complaints and issue intake
- Prepare operational reports and coordinate meetings to support the Medical Services Director
Required qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, medical scheduling, or clinic coordination
- High comfort level with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably Athena
- Ability to support a flexible operational schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for navigating sensitive healthcare conversations
- Successful completion of a standard healthcare background check and credentialing verification
