Clinical Pharmacist - Commercial Appeals
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist for Commercial Appeals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and review Appeals requests, render coverage determinations, and communicate decisions promptly
- Collaborate with team members to process referrals and handle inbound/outbound calls
- Maintain professional knowledge of drug and disease states for Specialty and Non-Specialty Pharmacy programs
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience as a clinical pharmacist in a PBM setting
- Current experience working within the Commercial Appeals team
- Experience using clinical resources like Micromedex, Lexicomp, Clinical Pharmacology
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
- Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
