Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist (LA & MS License Required).

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret patient care notes for prior authorization approvals and care plan recommendations
Monitor patient adherence and evaluate therapies for side effects, recommending changes as necessary
Oversee daily activities of support personnel and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree required
Licensed Pharmacist in Louisiana and Mississippi
1+ years of experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of complex/chronic disease states and therapies within specialty pharmacy
Commitment to obtaining additional licensure if needed within a mutually agreed timeframe
