Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist Lead to monitor drug development pipeline, provide clinical support, and develop strategies to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor drug development pipeline and medical literature
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate cost trend and improve health outcomes
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Medical Drug Strategies and identify opportunities to combat increased spend on medical drugs used in Medicare and Medicaid populations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
- Experience with pharmacy benefits and health benefits
