Job Summary
To enhance patient care, the remote Clinical Pharmacist (TN/GA Licensed) will provide integrated support to patients and physicians by developing personalized relationships, managing medication adherence, and promoting evidence-based care.
Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret patient care notes for prior authorization approvals and care plan recommendations
- Monitor patient adherence and evaluate therapies, recommending drug therapy changes as appropriate
- Oversee daily activities of support personnel and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
- Active licensure as a pharmacist in Tennessee or Georgia
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology and pharmacy regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and database applications
