Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Clinical Quality Analyst (State Licensed) will maintain expert knowledge of coding practices, drive integration of coding operations, and collaborate with various teams to improve coding quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Maintains expert knowledge of coding and oversees coding operations, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met
- Collaborates with HIM, CDI, and Coding Operations to monitor and improve day-to-day coding processes and quality reviews
- Leads initiatives for employee engagement and satisfaction while providing training and mentoring to staff
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- AAPC or AHIMA coding credential (CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA)
- 5+ years of recent experience with IP coding and/or in a coding reviewer role
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with CDI and Quality leadership to enhance coding accuracy
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and EMR coding workflows
