Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary

To enhance clinical quality, the full-time Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator will perform medical record reviews to monitor compliance with quality indicators, collaborate with clinical departments, and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct targeted medical record reviews to ensure compliance with AHRQ Patient Safety Indicators and other quality measures
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to support the organization's mission and maintain patient rights

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient care
• Experience in a healthcare setting focused on quality and process improvement preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of the interactions between medical center departments to support patient care and operations preferred
