Clinical Research Billing Manager

Job Summary

Managing the centralized clinical research finance infrastructure, the full-time Clinical Research Billing Manager will oversee billing operations, ensure compliance, and optimize workflows for clinical trials while working remotely and adhering to Eastern Time zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise research billing across all teams, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
• Develop and negotiate budgets, conduct coverage analyses, and manage sponsor invoicing for clinical trials
• Analyze operational performance metrics and provide guidance to research billing teams to resolve payment issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in clinical research operations or related fields
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• 1 year of experience in basic accounting functions, preferably in research billing
• Preferred certification as AHIMA or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)
