Clinical Research Budget Analyst

Job Summary

To support clinical research initiatives, the full-time remote Clinical Research Budget Analyst will manage the development and negotiation of budgets for clinical studies, maintain coverage analyses, and provide guidance to junior staff while utilizing clinical trial management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate budgets for medium to high complexity clinical research studies across various funding sources
• Maintain and update coverage determinations for protocol amendments and ensure all costs are captured in final sponsor budgets
• Provide expert guidance to junior colleagues and improve workflows within the research community

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, health sciences, or financial/business administration, or an associate degree with relevant certifications
• Minimum of four years' experience in clinical trial budget development, negotiation, and management
• Experience with coverage analysis and clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
• Familiarity with CPT coding and its application in clinical trial budgeting
