Clinical Research Budget Negotiator

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Clinical Research Budget Negotiator, the successful candidate will negotiate clinical trial budgets and payment terms, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements while collaborating with research teams and sponsors to facilitate efficient trial activation.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate budgets and payment terms for industry-sponsored and federally funded clinical trials
• Collaborate with principal investigators, research teams, and legal departments to ensure financial viability and compliance
• Manage the budget development process, ensuring alignment with fair market value and institutional policies

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in clinical research, health insurance, or relevant negotiation roles
• Experience with medical coding, billing compliance, and coverage analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of clinical trial billing and Medicare Coverage Analysis
