Clinical Research Finance Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Research Finance Coordinator II (Pre-Award) to manage financial aspects of clinical research studies during the pre-award phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with investigators and ancillary departments to develop and negotiate budgets for clinical research studies
• Evaluate complex research protocols to assess resource needs and determine cost allocation
• Monitor study accounts, manage invoicing, and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, finance, budgeting, or financial analysis
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical research setting
• Understanding of financial aspects of clinical trials, including budget preparation and funding management
• Hands-on experience with pre-award processes, such as grant proposals and contract negotiations
