Clinical Research Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Research Medical Director for T2D, US - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical/scientific knowledge for the global evidence generation plan for the phase 3 program
• Support cross-functional collaborations to integrate medical, scientific, and commercial input into the development program
• Participate in safety and regulatory interactions and author clinical study reports and publications

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of clinical research experience and/or basic science research
• Experience in Type 2 Diabetes and clinical research within the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Leadership experience in a complex matrix environment is advantageous
