Clinical Research Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Hematology Clinical Research Program, the full-time Clinical Research Operations Compliance Specialist will manage administrative, financial, and technical operations, ensuring compliance with clinical trial regulations and facilitating workflow among faculty and staff at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center while potentially working remotely up to three days per week after training.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert resource on compliance requirements for clinical trials and audit budgets to ensure full cost recovery
- Analyze clinical research budgets and manage contract terms, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations
- Assist in the development and implementation of research protocols and oversee staff efforts related to research program needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science or health-related field and two years of experience in clinical research project coordination or related healthcare experience
- Knowledge of administrative requirements for clinical research projects and experience in clinical trial financials
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with clinical research operations, including coordination and analysis of clinical trials
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and study sponsors
