Clinical Risk and Safety Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical risk management and patient safety, the full-time Clinical Risk and Safety Manager will develop and implement safety strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clinical leadership to promote a culture of safety in surgical operations, with a hybrid work schedule available at the Corporate Headquarters in St Louis, Missouri.

Key responsibilities

• Lead patient safety and risk management programs for surgical operations
• Identify, investigate, and mitigate safety risks, adverse events, and near misses
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health and Safety, or related field preferred
• 3 - 5 years of experience in healthcare, including behavioral health risk management or a related field required
• Strong investigative skills, including incident analysis and witness interviewing techniques
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to patient safety reporting and grievance management
• Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with clinical leaders and staff
