Clinical Services Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing and supporting the Clinical Coding Team, the full-time remote Manager, Payer Clinical Services will ensure high-quality clinical and coding audits, enhance staff education, and maintain strong client relationships while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical/coding DRG audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide staff education to enhance audit quality
• Maintain client relationships through thorough audits and effective communication of findings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Nurse credential preferred
• Active coding certification, such as CCS, CPC, or CIC
• Extensive experience in DRG coding validation and/or auditing
• Experience leading or managing a team
