Clinical Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting product development in a remote contract role, the Clinical Specialist will manage and execute clinical testing activities, coordinating with R&D and external vendors to substantiate product claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute clinical testing activities to support product development and claims substantiation
• Partner with internal teams and external CROs to design, coordinate, and manage studies from concept through data dissemination
• Serve as the primary contact for external vendors, managing timelines, availability, scheduling, and deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Consumer Science, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in consumer science, clinical research, or as a clinical study coordinator
• Experience working directly with external vendors and CROs
• Hands-on study execution is essential
• Background in CPG or cosmetic testing preferred; pharma experience considered
