Clinical Study Start-up Manager

Job Summary

Driving the planning and execution of clinical study start-up activities, the full-time remote Clinical Study Start-up Manager will ensure trials are launched efficiently and compliantly while managing study start-up plans and serving as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of clinical study start-up activities, ensuring timelines, quality, budget, and regulatory compliance are met
• Own and manage study start-up plans and milestones, maintaining oversight of progress and resolving issues
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively, contributing to study risk assessments to ensure timely study start

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 3 years, Bachelor's degree with 5 years, Associate's degree with 10 years, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of clinical execution experience
• Experience leading and managing global teams and project management experience
• Pharma and clinical trial processes and operations expertise
• Experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience in teams, projects, or programs
• No prior Veeva experience required
