Job Summary
Leading the design and standardization of high-risk clinical workflows, the full-time Director Clinical Systems Design will architect safe, reliable, and human-centered processes while collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize clinical care in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead system-level clinical workflow design and standardization for high-risk processes
- Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Safety teams to implement systemic design improvements based on performance data
- Define and monitor reliability thresholds for critical clinical processes
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in a clinical field, nursing, engineering, human factors, or a related field
- 7-10 years of healthcare experience with clinical systems design, human factors, or reliability engineering
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- Experience with enterprise-level workflow design and proactive risk assessments (preferred)
- Human Factors certification (preferred)
