Job Summary

Leading a dedicated team in a full-time capacity, the Clinical Team Lead - Missouri will provide remote clinical support by managing medication refill requests, prior authorizations, and responding to patient inquiries while ensuring high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manages a high volume of incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers, ensuring resolution of various needs such as scheduling and medication refills
• Utilizes critical thinking to address caller inquiries, researching complex issues in the electronic health record and consulting with clinical staff as needed
• Conducts quality audits and reports on operational performance metrics while providing training and coaching to team members

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in a clinical or customer service environment
• Proficiency in navigating electronic health records and understanding insurance processes
• Experience in managing high call volumes and maintaining performance standards
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position with a constant state of alertness
