Clinical Terminologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Terminologist (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Standardize data from various health systems by identifying, creating, or validating mappings between medical terms and standardized terminologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data management processes and ensure data quality
• Develop and maintain project documentation and perform data checks and edits

Required Qualifications

• Education in Medicine or related fields (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Informatics)
• 2+ years of experience in the field
• 1+ year of practical application in clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT)
• Understanding of Electronic Medical Records and medical terminology
