Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Terminologist (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Standardize data from various health systems by identifying, creating, or validating mappings between medical terms and standardized terminologies
• Participate in enhancing data management processes and perform data checks to ensure quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines and maintain project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Education in Medicine or related fields such as Nursing, Pharmacy, or Medical Informatics
• 2+ years of experience in the field
• 1+ year of practical application in clinical terminologies like SNOMED CT, RxNorm, and LOINC
• Relevant certifications in coding or health information management
• Understanding of Electronic Medical Records and medical terminology
