Clinical Trial Manager

Job Summary

Managing global clinical trials in oncology, the full-time Clinical Trial Manager or Senior Clinical Trial Manager will oversee study execution from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering relationships with study sites and vendors, either onsite in San Diego or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Phase 1-3 global clinical trials, ensuring adherence to clinical development plans and regulatory guidelines
• Recruit and maintain relationships with global study sites and investigators, participating in vendor selection and contract negotiations
• Monitor trial progress, manage study vendors, and provide updates to management and program teams

Required qualifications

• Preferred undergraduate degree in life sciences or related fields (pharmacy, medicine, nursing, or allied health sciences)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in oncology clinical operations for Clinical Trial Manager; 7 years for Senior Clinical Trial Manager
• Proven track record in managing multiple clinical trials and projects effectively
• Experience with managing study vendors and knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulations
• Familiarity with electronic data capture and data management software
