Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Closing Attorney will review, prepare, and facilitate nationwide legal closings of various commercial loan transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing a pipeline of loan transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan documentation to ensure compliance with bank policies and legal requirements
- Coordinate and oversee loan closings, ensuring all documents are properly executed and recorded
- Serve as the primary legal contact throughout the closing process, providing guidance and status updates to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one state bar and in good standing
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial lending, SBA lending, or secured lending
- Strong understanding of SBA lending requirements and commercial loan documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination/document preparation systems
