Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end mortgage closing function, the full-time Closing Department Manager will manage closing operations, oversee internal teams and external partners, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop the closing team, ensuring timely and compliant loan closings
- Direct the closing process from Clear-to-Close through funding, satisfying all legal and funding conditions
- Review and approve loan documents and manage relationships with closing attorneys and title companies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- 10+ years of experience in mortgage closing operations, title, escrow, or lending
- Extensive experience in reviewing mortgage loan documentation and legal closing requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing closing teams and third-party partners
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including TRID, RESPA, and TILA
