Cloud Application Delivery Engineer

Job Summary

To support a newly formed Cloud team, the contract Cloud Application Delivery Engineer will build scalable, automated cloud infrastructure and self-service platforms for internal teams, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud governance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a consultative resource for application teams delivering services in multi-cloud environments
• Operationalize cloud workloads by implementing monitoring, logging, backup & recovery, and security hardening
• Build Infrastructure as Code templates for provisioning servers, containers, and networks while enabling self-service provisioning of cloud infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent cloud engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and tools, including NSGs, ASGs, and load balancers
