Cloud Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Architect to support the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems portfolio within the Defense Healthcare Medical Systems program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture design for JOMIS platforms, including reference architecture and environment design
• Define cloud hosting and connectivity approaches for operational medicine systems and integrations
• Establish and maintain cloud governance practices and guide DevSecOps platform architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Eight or more years of experience in cloud architecture or enterprise infrastructure roles
• Experience designing secure cloud environments in regulated organizations
• Hands-on architecture experience with at least one hyperscale cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• U.S. citizenship required
