Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support enterprise cloud governance, the full-time remote Cloud Architect will manage the Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure compliance with security and financial standards while residing in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and integrated data platforms
• Develop and maintain the multi-year enterprise cloud strategy and technology roadmap
• Establish and govern cloud security frameworks and compliance measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least five years of experience as a Cloud Architect with Microsoft Azure
• Technical certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH compliance in cloud architectures
