Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Designing and governing cloud architecture for a network-as-a-service platform, the full-time Cloud Architect will define standards, guide platform decisions, and ensure resilient and secure cloud deployments while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Define cloud architecture standards and reference patterns for NaaS platform services across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Own cloud-native design decisions including compute, networking, storage, and containerization
• Lead cloud cost governance and ensure cloud security posture through IAM policies and compliance controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience
• Deep, demonstrated expertise in AWS, with experience designing and operating production systems at scale
• Working knowledge of GCP and Azure for a multi-cloud architecture perspective
• Production-level experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK
• Experience in Kubernetes/EKS cluster design and cloud networking including VPCs and load balancing
