Job Summary
To support the deployment of applications into a FedRAMP High authorized healthcare cloud, the full-time remote Cloud Architect - AWS Licensed will lead architecture reviews, evaluate application compatibility with AWS GovCloud, and define cloud migration strategies while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct architecture reviews to assess cloud readiness and scalability of applications for DSS Health Cloud onboarding
- Define cloud migration strategies and develop remediation roadmaps to ensure compliance with FedRAMP High requirements
- Provide interoperability guidance on healthcare integration standards and support onboarding roadmap development with ISV teams and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of cloud architecture experience, particularly in government or regulated cloud environments
- Proficiency in AWS architecture and experience with cloud-native application design and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and Zero Trust principles in federal cloud environments
- Familiarity with healthcare data integration standards, including FHIR and HL7
