Job Summary

Joining the Publix Platform Architecture team, the full-time remote Cloud Architect - Florida will design and implement large-scale, multi-cloud architectures while addressing information governance and security challenges associated with public clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of cloud strategy and architecture governance frameworks
• Define and enforce cloud operating environments, standards, and best practices for high availability and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure well-architected cloud solutions and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of architecture experience
• 8+ years of experience supporting multi-tier web applications
• 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of cloud workloads in Azure
• 5+ years of experience handling workloads in large-scale environments
