Cloud Architect - Public Trust

Job Summary

To support the modernization of cloud services for government clients, the remote Cloud Architect - Public Trust will design and implement scalable cloud solutions, enforce architecture standards, and lead the evaluation of cloud technologies while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud-service solutions that meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency requirements
• Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards and governance practices across program environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and maintain architecture documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud computing, with at least 5 years in a cloud architecture role
• Demonstrated experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with cloud-migration strategies, including lift-and-shift and re-architecting approaches
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
