Cloud Architect - Washington Licensed

Job Summary

To support an enterprise data warehouse migration, the full-time Cloud Architect - Washington Licensed will lead the transition of a large Oracle database to the Oracle Federal Cloud, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP requirements and operational continuity while working remotely with minimal travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and execution planning for the Oracle migration to Oracle Federal Cloud, ensuring a secure and scalable design
• Conduct legacy environment readiness assessments and drive necessary remediation actions for migration readiness
• Define and maintain target cloud architecture artifacts, ensuring security and compliance requirements are integrated into the delivery approach

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading large enterprise Oracle database and data warehouse migrations to cloud environments
• Proven experience designing cloud solutions in regulated environments with FedRAMP-aligned requirements
• Strong understanding of enterprise data integration and ETL operations, including Informatica and Oracle GoldenGate
• Working knowledge of data warehouse performance considerations and support for reporting platforms like OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance (Tier 2, Moderate Risk)
