Cloud Backup Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Backup Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud-centric backup infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Veeam Backup & Replication and Microsoft 365 backup solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs and optimize backup and recovery processes
• Implement security best practices and maintain documentation for backup configurations

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Veeam Backup & Replication and experience with Commvault is a plus
• Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and experience with Windows Server operating systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems is a plus
• Experience with backup principles, disaster recovery solutions, and cloud technologies
• Experience working in a multi-vendor, multi-site infrastructure environment is preferred
